Why use a professional?
Removing sign writing isn't simply a case of peeling off vinyl. Over time, adhesives harden, vinyl becomes brittle and prolonged UV exposure can leave visible 'ghosting' where the graphics once were. Using the correct techniques and products helps minimise the risk of damaging your paintwork while achieving the best possible finish.
Our Process
- Vehicle inspected before work begins.
- Vinyl graphics safely heated and removed.
- Adhesive residue carefully removed.
- Paintwork chemically decontaminated where required.
- Machine polishing available to reduce ghosting and restore gloss.
- Final inspection before handover.
Important information
Every vehicle is different. The age of the graphics, the condition of the paint and how long the vinyl has been applied all influence the final result. While we take every care to achieve the best possible finish, older graphics can occasionally leave faint outlines or differences in paint colour caused by UV exposure over time.
Please note: Any oxidised / faded panels outside of the signage areas will not be machine polished as standard, please consider this when requesting a quote. Paint enhancement or machine polishing can often significantly reduce the appearance of ghosting after sign writing removal and can be added as part of your package
