Why does pet hair & sand cost extra?
Pet hair & sand removal is one of the most time-consuming aspects of interior detailing. Fine hairs become woven into vehicle fabrics and often require specialist tools and techniques to remove safely without damaging the material. Professional detailers frequently point out that stubborn pet hair takes much longer than a standard interior clean because it becomes embedded in the fibres.
Our Process
- Interior thoroughly inspected.
- Loose hair removed using professional vacuum equipment.
- Specialist pet hair removal tools used to lift embedded hair.
- Carpets, seats and boot area carefully worked section by section.
- Interior vacuumed again to remove remaining hair.
- Final inspection before handover.
Managing expectations
Whilst we aim to remove as much pet hair and sand as possible, heavily embedded hair in worn or delicate fabrics may not always be possible to remove completely. Every vehicle is assessed individually before work begins.
